Hi Geoff

Had the resonator off my Stelling to take some photos of the serial for the insurance company.

Noticed a thick shiny black coating on the inside of the resonator what is that?

I don't have anything like that on my Fender and just curious

	Geoff Stelling says: 5/8/2013 10:02:03 AM The resonators are spray painted flat black and then sprayed with clear finish as on the remainder of the banjo. It is for cosmetic and protective reasons that we do that.
