I just acquired a Gibson Earl Scruggs Standard model. I love it. I was asked a few times, "Did you hold gun to his head?" I got a great deal on it. Couldn't turn it down. But I've been pickin' my Stelling Golden Cross for 30 years and I want my Gibson to "feel" like my Stelling. I need advice and suggestions. At this time I'm guessing that getting a Snuffy Smith bridge on it is a good place to start.

	Geoff Stelling says: 2/4/2013 12:21:52 PM Curtiss, I'd say that the shape of the neck is the main difference in feel. Our necks were quite thin and flatter than they are now and a lot different from the Gibson shape 30 years ago. I'll bet the weight is a bit different, too. I don't see how a Snuffy bridge will make any difference in those areas.
