Thats sure going to be a bunch of stellings at your house, unless youve sold something. But really just about the right number. I only have 2 but my son has a Red Fox

I know, right? This was a tough decision, because it's so over the top.

I love my Red Fox. Mine was one of the last Stellings made before the Pass rim became standard. Mine has a Cooperman 3 ply maple rim BUT it sounds wonderful as I'm sure your new one will. I would love to have another Stelling as the Fox is my only banjo. The Crusader is very appealing to me. Congrtas on your new banjo !

Thomas, it would be very interesting to have a Crusader around to try out for a awhile,I just havent had the chance To play one but hoping to this summer. Between the 3 we have, a cherry, walnut and maple, a mahogany would fill out the choices. Last year the crusaders seemed to be moving slow in the classifieds but not any more.

Oh to have money ! Alan Munde plays a Crusader that sounds wonderful. The thing about used Stellings is that they don't go down in price much ! A testament to their quality. I have thought about a custom one in my fantasy...a woody Sunflower

I suppose this guy had most of these custom built way back and now is selling off the collection. I need about $40,000 for the ones I really want

Jay-what do the folks in Okinawa think of the banjo?

Steve,
It's not real big here, but the shamisen is huge. The Bluegrass scene here is not nearly as developed as on the Japanese Mainland.

Had to look up what a shamisen is; soon as I saw the picture, it was 'oh, yeah, those instruments'.
