Just ordered a Red Fox with the Tony Pass rim from Elderly. Can't wait.

Mine has a Cooperman 3 ply maple rim BUT it sounds wonderful as I'm sure your new one will. I would love to have another Stelling as the Fox is my only banjo. The Crusader is very appealing to me. Congrtas on your new banjo !

Between the 3 we have, a cherry, walnut and maple, a mahogany would fill out the choices. Last year the crusaders seemed to be moving slow in the classifieds but not any more.

	MiG-19 says: 4/23/2012 8:24:03 PM Steve, It's not real big here, but the shamisen is huge. The Bluegrass scene here is not nearly as developed as on the Japanese Mainland.
