The sound of Stellings and craftmanship is what hooked me .I have owned a few and played a lot of them.The masterflower I now have is one of the best I have played .

	pdbanjo says: 1/31/2011 12:34:58 PM Yepper!! I agree!! Great quality for the $$. What I'd really like to know is why one banjo sounds great while the next one off the luthiers bench isn't as good. Seems to me a luthier using basically wood from the same tree and identical parts to build one after the other, shouldn't they all sound really similar? Stradivaius had the same problem as did Lloyd Loar. Those two guys did have a good run of building many great instruments but why did they have so many compared to their understudies even? Just plain "Artisty" is my guess.
