I live in a small studio apt. I can hang my open back banjo on the wall using heavy gage (almost like coat hanger) wire. I hook the two "north-most" keys to a single piece of the wire and suspend the banjo via the wire from the wall. Do you think this way would work for a Stelling resonator? My Sunflower must outweigh the open back by at least 10 lbs.; could the key pegs support the weight? I have seen many banjos displayed this way in stores. But how long can this work without causing some stress to the neck or pegs?

I am almost as concerned about having the banjo underfoot leaning on a stand. I've already had to have a guitar (successfully) repaired from falling down. Any ideas? Keeping it in its case is not a preferable option.

	Ragaisis says: 8/2/2011 1:33:54 PM I use the wood string swing wall holder. I use it for both guitars and banjos. I'm suggesting this as a product that works well and will accomplish what it sounds like you're looking for. Wall bumber? I'm not familiar with that term.
