Awhile back Geoff posted a reply discussing how, using the two outside tailpiece adjustment screws, you can increase and decrease sustain.

I have searched the archives and it truly is "a needle in a haystack".

Geoff or someone can you please reiterate whether moving the tailpiece towards the bridge increases or decreases sustain and the effect of moving it away from the bridge.

	Geoff Stelling says: 6/29/2011 10:37:13 AM Gary, Turning the pivot pins in, clockwise, will push the tailpiece back and increase sustain. Turn the pins out, counter-clockwise, to reduce sustain. The closer the tailpiece is to the bridge, the less sustain you will have. If it gets too close, it will act like a mute and decrease volume. Good luck. Geoff
