I finally got my longed for Stelling last week from banjo.com; joined BH and this group today. I am semi-retired now and hope to have more time for picking and learning new tunes. As my profile name implies, I am the proud owner of a brand new Red Fox. I went to the banjo.com showroom in Marietta GA with intentions of deciding between Stelling, Huber, Nechville, Deering, Ome and Sullivan. I had the pleasure of picking all the above brands lined up side-by-side. It came down to a tussle between the Red Fox and a Sullivan Bardstown, the latter being very close to having that sought after "pre-war" sound. I think the fact that I always dreamed of someday owning a Stelling was what finally sealed my decision. I have no regrets.
