Hey all,

Hope you are all doing good this Sunday !

I live in England and just found the above Banjo for sale in Europe, but the dealer is asking 3.300 Euros.. or $4.6k USD. That seems way overpriced to me. May I have your thoughts please ?

	oldfashioncwby says: 3/20/2011 1:01:16 PM Unless there is something I do not know about that Superstar, the price appears to be way too high. For a couple hundred more in the USA you could get a new Virginian or Staghorn if you are a good shopper, and I'd rather have a new one than a 30 year old instrument with an unknown past.

	pdbanjo says: 4/8/2011 2:14:05 PM Keep looking davey. That's way too much for a Superstar. If you could find a similar one here in the states it would go for $2200 or less. There is obviously a shortage of quality banjos in the UK and I suspect the seller knows that and is willing to hang on to it until he finds a sucker. Superstars are great banjos but not at the top of the line of the instruments Geoff has produced, IMO.
	pdbanjo says: 4/8/2011 2:29:56 PM Just looked at the R and F Charle web site and he has that Superstar pictured and priced at 3.300 euros. It has a sweet looking sunburst finish and looks to be in good used condition but it isn't worth that kind of money. If he won't sell it for less than 2.000 Euros then you should pass on it and keep your money handy for when a better deal comes your way.
