Well I've decided that I'm going to start playing my banjo,......again. I've had this nice Bellflower that I bought new in about 1980,..been playing it off an on and I've maybe over time changed my sound preference. Seems that the banjo is a little too bright and ringy for lack of a better word. Thinking about replacing the head with a fibreskyn to try to get a (slightly) more mello plunky sound. My thinking is that I'll need to order an 11 in. Med. crown head. Does that sound about right?
