Red Fox headstock binding

	Jason Skinner says: 7/20/2020 8:27:32 AM Pretty sure it's pinstriping tape. You can see the tape pulling away in a couple of places. Weird. But I'm going to look at it tonight. Then I can find out what is happening there. Hopefully it is just tape and can just be pulled off.
	monstertone says: 7/21/2020 1:18:28 PM I have other banjos having multi layered veneers. I have a stained curly maple neck with a thin layer of white holly beneath the ebony fret board & peg head. It had a 45º champfer around the edge giving it the appearance of a bound peg head. I think the builder said the stain was mixed with the lacquer & he had to mask the holly. hopefully what you are about to peel off will reveal a secret underneath.
