When I got my Stelling banjo , it had a broken neck, courtesy of the airlines. The neck had been repaired, & broken again, same cause.

I lived in So. Ca. Geoff had relocated to Virginia many moons ago. So I had a replacement neck built by a local luthier. Although the new neck was supposed to be the same width & contour of the original, it didn't quite turn out that way. Far from it, it was a club, which I had reshaped as thin as possible without fear of the truss rod breaking through. I don't think it is as wide as a Stelling neck either.

Would anyone be willing to take precision measurements of their neck at various points & either post them here, or in a pm? Width & thickness, especially in the areas of 10/17 frets?

	Geoff Stelling says: 8/26/2017 12:35:40 PM JD, Too bad you did not send the neck to us to repair. You'd probably still be playing it if you had. It may not be too late to do that although the two repair jobs that have already been done will make it difficult to do the job right. We can try. Geoff
