Greetings fellow Rickard Banjo enthusiasts! I am the recent and proud owner of a Maple Ridge 12". Since obtaining this instrument I have been experimenting with different setups. So far I have settled on heavy gauge strings, a heavy solid foot bridge and a slightly loose head. This combination is producing a really warm and deep sound that's heavy on the sustain. I am curious to hear what setups other players have found to work for them. Thanks in advance for any replys.
