I am thinking about buying a RK 75, and I have some concerns/questions about them after reading some posts. The only dealer is about 2 1/2 hours away so I cannot go try one out.

I have read a lot about the scale, which from what I can get is the scale/spacing of the frets, is that noticeable when playing? I play an Epiphone MB 250 and a Good Time now, and is wondering how the scale relates to these instruments. And how does the neck feel, is it smooth, and does it fit in your hand good? I have small hands so these things are important.

I to played a Epiphone 250, my first banjo and I have a Gold Tone Cripple Creek banjo as a back up, this will be like upgrading from a Ford Escort to a Mercedes Benz! you will love it and your Banjo playing will definitely improve! Take care.
	BanjoJeff says: 7/25/2013 7:38:42 AM The longer scale is helpful when fretting up the neck, but if have small hands you probably don't have any issue with that on your current banjos. The 75s are awesome. The necks are smoothe and very playable. I wouldn't worry too much about buying one without playing it first.
	PapaSapps says: 7/25/2013 2:32:58 PM Is there a reason you want the 75 over the 80? The 80 is the Same quality as the 75, just standard neck length. That's what I play and I absolutely love it.
	RB-1 says: 8/19/2013 2:20:00 AM I'm using my -75 as my working banjo when not taking my old RB-1 on the road and it holds more than a candle besides this vintage Gibson. That should tell us.... ;-)
