I also wrote a lot about how I set her up on my home page. You'll see that the truss rod cover is not stock... more about that in my write up. Again - you'll enjoy the Soloist! m
	Andyincov says: 4/20/2012 7:43:38 AM I have to say, I'm more than pleasantly surprised with it. It's got that bright maple crunch I was looking for (last banjo was a mahogany neck and much more mellow). Had a bit of a shock when I first played it though. Couldn't play it before I bought it which is a little unnerving to say the least. When it arrived I excitedly started picking and it sounded......much worse than my other banjo!! Took off the resonator in a panic and head was only hand-tightened. Cranked it on tight and, thank goodness, it sounded like it does now. That's a nice trio of banjos you've got there!
