I posted some about this in the Hide head group but wanted to share it here too. I recently installed a new calfskin head premounted from Bill Miller at Banjoseen on my RK60V project , and absolutly love the the sound of this. My banjo doesn't leave the house much anymore so I don't have to fight the humidity changes much at all. It's great. Sometimes the old tech is the best tech!
