Just ordered my second Pisgah - Dobson Rambler fretless. Just can't beat the quality and sound.

	Oldpiper says: 7/4/2015 11:48:12 AM I told Patrick to set up my new Rambler Dobson with nylgut-type strings, but not sure this is the right decision. Plus, I have no idea what strings to put on it. I've read about Aquila, Sands, nylon, gut, etc for hours and still come up blank. Any experience with these type strings on your Rambler? Maybe I should stay with steel that I'm familiar with. ???
	theheadvarmint says: 7/4/2015 12:36:31 PM I would ask Patrick what he recommends and have them do the set up that way. They play a lot of them and have a feeling for what sounds best. Then change strings and/or bridge if you want a different sound. Dobson is going to sound different to begin with.
