Not a hunting blog....LOL...has anyone swapped the ren. head for a skin, and have opinions? Also bridge changes, armrests, tailpiece changes, etc. I love mine stock, only change I've made is a Gary Sosebee .065 bridge, but curious about others tone quests --positives or negatives.

	Oldpiper says: 2/1/2015 5:20:01 PM I put a John Balch goat skin head on my Possum and, as usual,love it. Also have a Sampson walnut bridge. Might go to a spruce bride though.
	pastorharry says: 2/1/2015 5:35:33 PM John is a good friend of mine and I've had his heads on other banjos, so, yes, that's the main reason for this thread....but also curious what others have done to "trick out" they're Pisgah's.Oldpiper, I'm really glad your banjo likes that head, what type did you get,goat, calf?? Any stain? I was thinking a walnut stain would be really cool.

	Kev1 says: 2/2/2015 4:05:17 AM Hi, I put a John Balch goat skin head on my Possum to replace the Renaissance head which made the banjo sound a little to bright to my taste. I also changed the stock bridge and replaced it with a Bart Veerman bridge. The banjo sounds just right (to my ear at least) after these changes.
