Title says it all. I just ordered my first Pisgah Banjo. I had the pleasure of getting to play a couple of their banjos at Zepps Music last year and was very impressed. Mr. Zepp talked to me about the company and their instruments, and being a Native North Carolinian , I knew I'd love to have one some day.
I went with a fretless in walnut and cherry with a Dobson tone ring. I already owned a fretless reproduction minstrel era banjo (Boucher by Bell and Sons), but wanted a modern fretless that I could tune up to modern tuning. I can't wait!
