Is the Pisgah banjo truss rod adjustable?

From canerods on 1/14/2015 2:56:44 PM

Don't see any access to the truss rod at the head stock and the website says 'carbon fiber' truss rod. Looking to purchase a Pisgah banjo, but would like an adjustable truss rod. Any thoughts?

Looks like a carbon fiber insert to me, ie; non-adjustable truss rod.

Just my opinion

So the obvious question is: Does a carbon fiber truss rod provide enough stability to eliminate neck relief issues? Anyone have experience with this?

I have had my Possum for a year. No problems with the neck at all. You could call Patrick and ask about their experience. You could search on BHO for info on carbon fiber truss rods or post a question on the Build, Setup, Repair forum.

Yes, ask Patrick. He is a pro and a reliable source. My Rambler's neck is also straight and shows no signs of a need to adjust. But check with Patrick.

Ask Patrick, but in a recent conversation, he told me the truss rod is two-way adjustable through the heel.

Patrick from Pisgah Banjo's says that all of our banjo's are now built with a LMI 2-way adjustable truss rod!! Fantastic!

Thanks for confirming that!

Sorry I need to change this on my website. I have a list of updates that I will change soon. Please contact me directly if anyone any any technical questions about their banjo.
