The Rambler has arrived

From BOHICA on 4/17/2014 9:01:00 AM

As I have said before, I started my interest in banjo playing about a year ago. My first banjo was a Fender (only because I knew no other name) followed shortly there after by a Recording King Madison. My wife also started at the same time so the need for two banjos was necessary. Anyways, both of these are made in Asia, and are actually very good fro what they are. But as I began my journey down the old time path I began to feel the need to have an instrument built in the land where the music had its roots. Somehow I found out about Pisgah banjos and was able to acquire two early used ones. Since then, I have met Patrick, saw his vision, and simply love his product. That said, a call late fall to Patrick informed me that his new project was ready. Of course I wanted one and it has arrived. The Rambler has exceeded any expectations I had...it is a true work of craftsmanship. Please see my home page for the photos. I am a very happy guy!

Nice banjo and photos. I similarly love my Pisgah Appalachian. These are super instruments that inspire me every time I pick it up (heck, it's nice just looking at it). Really like their take on banjos.

Looks fantastic - very similar to mine, which is on it's way to SF. I'll upload the photos Patrick sent me upon completion once I have an opportunity. Good to hear you like the sound. I was only a blue to play the prototype briefly. Loved the sound then, but it's been a while.

Done on my page. Just tilt your screen for proper perspective. Somehow pictures from iPhone get tilted by default.
