Madison no problem! What you can do is upload the photos to your BHO account and then when the photos are uploaded and you can choose to link them to this group by clicking on the green button below the photos and check "Pisgah hangout" and it will automatically post the photos to the group.

You must take photos when it arrives and upload them to you BHO account so we can see them...I have to wait until February for mine. The serial number on mine is 84, do you know what number yours is?

hahaha..you think thats bad,my banjos is complete and I have to wait either until February or possibly Easter before my mom can fly down to Argentina with my banjo when she visits us...that sucks! Its either that or pay like U$S 3 or 400 biggies for shipping to Argentina and then once it gets here, possibly wait another 60 - 90 days while customs processes it :(

Aww man. That does suck. At least you have something to look forward too ;-) I got my Pisgah yesterday. I love it!!! It's got to be one of the most good lookin banjos I've ever seen, and it sounds as good as it looks. I can hardly put it down. Buying from Pisgah has been a thoroughly enjoyable experience. I'll upload some audio or video soon.

Awesome!! Please upload a complete video review of the banjo and go over it....I am hoping the PHO will be a place where people can hear and see the banjos and maybe be moved to buy one themselves. My banjo is number 84 and it will be sent out the end of this month to Fla ( hopefully ) my mom lives near Daytona Beach Fl ( I grew up in DeBary Fl near Deland ) and my brother in lawand sis lives in St Johns County though most of my family is from Kentucky. I say that cause I saw that you were from Jax.

Madison, believe it or not Florida has a pretty cool Old time scene but its spread out. There is another guy south of you in St Augustine who is a big collector and player. Also in White Springs Fla every winter is one of the biggest old time camps at the Suwanee music park. There you can attend workshops with Dan Gellert, Mary Z Cox, Chuck Levy ( all Floridians ) and more. Its a great place to go fora few days and soak up alot of oldtimeness. How did you get into old-time may I ask?

Hey erik. I suppose I actually meant Jacksonville Florida.
My friend Nathan from West Virginia introduced me to old time guitar a little over a year ago and convinced me to go to clifftop. After the festival I was absolutely in love with old time, Mostly because (on the surface) it's a lot easier than jazz which is what I was trying to teach myself but having little luck.
I actually just recently attended one of Chuck Levy's workshops and he invited me to attend the Suwannee banjo camp under the "work-study" program. This was the only way I could afford the camp. I'm even picking up Mary cox from the airport to take her to the camp! I can't wait. I've been extremely lucky in the old time scene, but that's what I love about it. The humble grassroots qualities of the old-time culture allow novices from the city such as myself, to get thrown right into the thick of the best players in Florida.

Thats great so you have two of the best teachers around...fantastic. I hope to be able to attend some of those camps in the future when I come home to visit. I was exposed to bluegrass, old-time and country by family which is all from Kentucky.

Oh man you haven't been to clifftop yet?! It is nothing short from heaven. thousands of musicians, strong moonshine and beautiful women. This is where the hobo from big rock candy mountain really went when he died.
Have you gotten a chance to listen to my review? I accidentaly recorded it too quietly but if you plug into some speakers you can hear everything just fine.

I hear it really low but when you started playing it came through really well...thanks for that! Well I have been down here in Argentina for the last 5 years living and working with my wife and baby boy of 5 months. I used to go to alot of bluegrass festivals...Green Cove Springs I played at with my old group...and also Waldo Fl back when they still had it. Clifftop I want to go but never have been....maybe some day :)

I work as the account manager for an IT software company in Texas called "Making Sense LLC" We just released last year a landing page creation software app called "Lander" that allows businesses to create focused landing pages for focused marketing campaigns. Its a good job

Well the company is based in Texas, founded by Argentines but I work here in one of the branch offices here in Argentina. We live in a coastal city called Mar del Plata about a 4 hour drive south of Buenos Aires. I speak fluent spanish and english.
