Hello members, I just purchased a new Moonshine EX, in fact awaiting it's arrival. Just wondering how many others out there have one and what are your thoughts. Do you play both clawhammer and 3 finger picking with your banjo? Thanks

	edpottenger says: 1/6/2015 8:23:46 AM I had a Moonshine and traded it to another member Here on the Hangout. At the time I needed more volume and traded it for a Deering Golden Era. I've since then picked up a Nechville Atlas that I love. Honestly if I'd been a bit more experienced with an open back I would have kept it. I use my Atlas for both styles! Welcome to the Nechville family!

	Bastertone says: 2/12/2015 7:29:36 AM I was wondering how you liked your moonshine? I helped Tom design the frame and finally got one, I found it very comfortable to play. I built a pop on resonator for it and have it tuned low to a D with heavier strings, I love it. It's also light!
	somarmd says: 2/12/2015 7:40:31 AM Hi, I love it! I ordered a pop on reso also but have not received it yet. Hopefully early next month. For me it fit my budget, sounds great, very comfortable and light at about 7 pounds. I changed the head and adjusted the string height the other day. So easy to do compared to hook and nut pots. All around for me it's perfect. I thought I would play more claw hammer but have been enjoying learning (combination of relearning and continued learning) 3 finger. I use a different banjo when playing at my weekly old time jam. That's interesting you helped develop the pot? Very cool and thank you.
