I returned to Minnesota from Scotland on Tuesday night and we hung out in the Twin Cities to recover before heading north to home. I spent part of Wednesday in the shop. It is always fun to experience the chaos of a busy shop...Tom, Dave, Wayne, Dan, and Jeremiah were busy as usual. The fun is always playing the new "toys"...then lunch with Tom and Jeremiah. However, the danger is getting put to work. Nechville banjos are unique cool machines and most of the components are made or at least individually modified at the shop. I learn a lot by hanging around with those guys. Makes me a better luthier and better at Nechville setup. If you're ever in Minneapolis, stop in the shop...maybe you'll get put to work too.
