I heard Alison used a Nechville on Fair Weather. I see there is an old clip of banjo mambo on youtube.

I've always thought this neck was really cool, I love the white binding on the peghead. can you still get that ? I've never seen anyone else with this particular incarnation. If I'm ever able to afford and upgrade.. I'd love that neck

Also.. was this a conversion? cause I notice there is a metal armrest not the wooden one normally associated with nechville..

	Guy says: 7/30/2012 2:18:29 AM Definitely a Nechville through and through I reckon. It's Tom's patented helimount system, the neck inlay is Tom's cascade design. I think the neck must be a vintage. The binding on the headstock is not standard but I love it too. There's a nice example on Tom's homepage, the Nextar (image #4) has it and I think it looks fantastic. 	alprice says: 7/30/2012 7:30:49 AM It is a Classic neck with Cascade and bound ivoroid peghead. Alison has had that banjo for many years now, pre-dating the release of the comfort beveled armrest. We'll have to get one on there for her next time we see her. Bound peg head is available as a custom option. You can find a number of such add-ons on the Custom Options page found under the Acoustic Banjos menu on our web site.
