I just added two tunes I play on my Nechville tenor. I don't think there are too many Nechville tenors out there and so i just thought i'd put these out for folks to hear. When You're Smiling and L.O.V.E. are the tunes and they were recorded off the radio from a live in studio show we did a few months ago.

I have two necks, a 5 string and a tenor and each time we play i decide beforehand which i am going to play with that day and which other banjo i'm bringing. i prefer the nechville 5 string to my others and i prefer my nechville tenor to my other so it's kind of a hard choice! it's nice to have that problem though.

I had only one chance to play one and that was during last years Tønder-festival in Denmark (Great tip for folkies tf.dk). It was just great. But, as budbennett writes, I have never seen one in Irish Traditional Music and I have been to a lot of sessions, even in Ireland. So I am really excited, how it will do the job.
	budbennett says: 9/28/2011 7:23:19 AM i'm not playing irish traditional with mine, i'm playing jazz mostly BUT when i want to play irish i have been putting a capo on the second fret and then playing some old fiddle tunes on it. it works very well and is fun. i hope you will enjoy your nechville tenor, i still love mine. the tone is different from other tenors i've played and i like that about it. i've been swapping the neck from 5 string to tenor quite a bit lately and it's pretty easy and quick so if you ever decide you want a 5 string you can just buy a second neck and you're good to go.
