I finally made it over to Fayetteville last Saturday, it was the opening day for this year's season at the Texas Pickin Park. First time there for me, and I was very impressed with the abilities of most of the folks there. I highly recommend that you check it out if youi're in the area. Fayetteville isn't very big, but there appeared to be some cafe's and so forth around the square if you don't pack a lunch.
There was also a guest band playing there called Third Rail, they are definitely worth checking out. Young kids with LOTS of talent.
