So...what tuning do you use? gCEA? GCEA? Something else?

	Jim Yates says: 2/28/2011 4:36:24 PM On my concert and my tenor banjo I use gCEA. On the tenor guitar/baritone uke I use DGBE. The tenor banjo sometimes has a High G and sometimes a low, depending on how I feel when I change strings.

Also have put uke strings (and a length of fishing line for the fifth string) on my little Nechville Banjovie, which has pretty much a tenor ukulele scale, and tune it to cGCEA.
	bigcraig says: 3/1/2011 1:08:15 PM I have a Mele concert uke which is tuned GCEA. It's easy to play because its just like a 4 string guitar capoed at the 5th fret. I've never changed strings, so never tried the classic gCEA tuning to play it "properly"!

	Diamond Eagle says: 3/9/2011 7:21:02 AM We have 3 ukes in the family, 2 Luna Concert Tattoos (mine and the oldest son's) and a Lanikai Concert (for the younger ones). They are all high g, but I have plans to get a tenor and try low g. The problem is which one..... there are so many.
	tinkersdam says: 3/10/2011 11:12:50 AM I tune my baritone uke DGBD (drop the 1st string from E to D) as I often use it to hammer out banjo tunes in later evening when other folks here prefer more quiet time. I do know a few tunes in the standard baritone DGBE tuning though...ie "Staten Island Slide"
	huggie says: 2/5/2013 12:37:59 PM Just pondering on this one, as i'm a fairly experienced banjo player and was wondering if any of you tune up the same as open G on the 5 string banjo as this would make it much easier for me to think about taking up the uke,if not is there a reason why you couldn't?
