Hi folks,

I have been admiring Mr. Hatfield's banjos for a while. I'm almost ready to take the plunge, but I would really like to play one before making the trip to Kentucky. I have found over the past week that I really like the sound of most Stellings over the Gibson sound/feel. I may go that direction, but I think if I could play a Hatfield banjo or two that I would be less apprehensive about buying one. I bet that many of you are like me and have played many expensive banjos that don't have the magic. I would hate to spend alot of money and time and not be satisfied. If anyone is within driving distance of the Greensboro area of NC and wouldn't mind letting me pick your Hatfield, please let me know. I am a teacher and out for the summer so I have some time on my hands and can work around your schedule. Thanks!
