Re
Hi guys, so, I bought a gourd which was described as a Mali flat boule. It's turned out to be 12" wide and 11" tall. So not very flat. The question I have is, what would be the optimum height to cut it at? I'm a bit concerned that, because my own stature could be described (by an unkind person) as gourd-like. The combination could result in me needing longer arms to be able to play it. Is there a point below which the gourd would lose structural stability.
regards BB
