I started learning to play music at 14 when I got my first banjo I then went on to play several other instruments including guitar, mandolin, and fiddle. I mainly play Old-time music banjo and fiddle being my primary instruments of choice. I played music in Gatlinburg for 7 summer seasons of Tunes and Tales and I currently play fiddle with Boogertown Gap, and banjo and sometimes fiddle with the Museum of Appalachia Band and with other friends for different local events. Although I love playing music It is mostly a hobby right now. I have a full Time Job with the Anderson County School System And I most enjoy spending time with my wife and 2 Boys.
