Can't tell you how impressed I am with Jimmy Cox and his work... I wanted to try a Cox banjo and wanted the Kentucky 5 with a H&F inlay in walnut... well, I called Jimmy, asked him what he could do, and within three weeks he delivered a banjo to me to "try" just to make sure I liked it. Like it? Wow - it honestly blows away every other banjo I've ever had or tried... the tone is as crisp and clean as it comes. And Jimmy was amazing - courteous, customer oriented, patient and engaged throught the whole process... I'm convinced he's got about the best banjo out there...

	rbergesch says: 3/21/2011 8:45:16 AM Just bought a used K-5 from Jim Cox - he took it in trade allowance for a customer who wanted to upgrade. WOW. While I'm easy to please (this is the only real bluegrass banjo I've had,) I couldn't be more pleased with the playing characteristics of this instrument. I loved it when I bought it, and love it more every day. Jimmy Cox - an American Treasure!!
