Hi all. Just an update on my whereabouts. I have moved to Old Orchard Beach, ME...just a short drive from Portland. I moved here to help my best friend (from high school days) run his Property Management company. I love where I live..2 blocks from the beach, a couple miles from a friend that I play music with (hope to add more..hint hint :) There are a couple of fun jams that I've attended..up in Yarmouth at the folk-community center there and one in downtown Portland--Acoustic Artisans. All are really nice folks. I'm also a bit of a swing dancer (mainly East Coast) and I've started making contact there too.
Musically-I'm starting to work on old riverboat type songs...Alabama Jubiliee, Sweet Georgia Brown, etc. as I've been inspired by my friend here (Mainejohn..I think his name is online here) as he is an amazing Plectrum player...I love the sound of Plectrum and Scruggs style together. So that's all for now and it feels really good to get back to my Hangout roots :)
