Just back from the annual meeting in banjo hell II. We played until we couldn't met new banjo picking friends and met up with old picking banjo buddies. To all of you who missed it, we are sorry for you. Got my new Fielding banjo and played until my fingers fell off.

Hope all is well with you all. As long as you have a banjo all is right with the world.

Highlights; our fast and furious hobo jam in the middle of the field under the stars one night around a little flickering candle with Mike Bing, R Buck, Todd Clewell, Jake Krack, me and the Rhythm Kings (Fred & Jim), new banjos every where, watching Bob Buck get his new Fielding, Persnickety Lad, our new Irish buddy - great fun with him, the annual banjo makers jam, late A session with Heavy Thumb (Michele), the first annual Pat Shields tailpiece award to Mike Bing, banjo talk with Tanya (OME), Will Fielding, Kevin Enoch, Bill Talley, Bill Rickard, and many others, meeting the Austrailian bunch, forgetting a lot.... Favorite new tune - Running through the rain to keep your hair dry - from Mark Tamsula's new PA tune cd, wonderful.
