Had the great pleasure of playing tunes the other week with the chief clawhammer curmudgeon R Buck and his wife Amy (also a curmudgeon) at our place in PA. Great time as always, looking forward to the next one already. Even though we live 9 hours apart, his dad lives near me and my daughter lives near him in SC so we manage to make it happen three or fours times a year with a week of it at Clifftop. He was first person I played old time music with and I always look forward to our chances to to visit, they always include music. Its even better these days with both of our wives playing, Amy has become one of my favorite fiddlers these days and she ain't bad on the banjar, guitar, vocals and bass either....
R Buck, I fixed the A scale after you played it, changed the head to lower the hoop, and modified the tension hoop a little more, its sounding better than ever now and I'm gonna leave it alone, yeah right...
