Can anyone tell me if the music in the above mentioned book is of complete tunes or just parts of tunes for practicing purposes? I started with this book and sadly it had never done me any good?

Can you tell me if they are all complete tunes or which ones are complete? This book has baffled me! He commonly writes Ex. then a number before each tune and I keep thinking he means extract.
