After six years of research collecting contemporary tunes and getting around to sessions, Easy Irish and Celtic Session Tunes for 5-String Banjo: Best-Loved Jigs and Reels is finally available from Mel Bay. I am not at liberty to post copyrighted tabs or .mp3s on BHO, but I can offer tips on technique, linking tunes, and the like. It's a long title, lol, so here's the short title and link: Best-Loved Jigs and Reels

Mel Bay wanted an "easy" book for beginners of contemporary "Irish and Celtic" session tunes - not re-rehashed tunes from O'Neill's etc, so the title just grew and grew. "Best-Loved Jigs and Reels" is the short version, haha.
