Well, it seems as though no one has spoken up yet, so let me begin: My name is Jason, and I like the Buckbee. I’m speaking of the Bart Reiter Buckbee, by the way. It just occurred to me that the group creator/moderator might have been referring to actual Buckbee-produced banjos, in which case I’ve joined the wrong support group. But assuming we are talking about the humble and under-appreciated BR banjo, that of the plain headstock and simple nickel hardware, then I’m all-in. Except for one thing: I don’t own a Reiter Buckbee! If only I did! Instead, I play a secondhand Frankenbanjo – and dream of the day when I can reasonably afford a Genuine American Handmade Bart Reiter Buckbee banjo. (There’s been one sitting in the classifieds, but the fella don’t never respond to inquiries.) Alas!
