Too many to name... all of them old-timers (Cockerham, Creed, Jerrell, Slaughter, Ward, et al.); also Carlin, de Groot, Diller, Erbsen, Hicks, Hurt, Johnson, Lee, Levenson, Molsky, Mosheim (Carling & Will), Romero... Morrison, Kolodner, Knowler... Ralph Stanley and Earl Scruggs (even though it’s not the style I play)

Started rock guitar as a teen, later fell in love with flatpicking/bluegrass, learned mandolin, wanted to play banjo (but never did)... finally got into old-time and gave the 5-string a chance. Instantly hooked. Play clawhammer and a bit of 2-finger.
