I'm 77 and started a year ago. It's slow going but I'm obsessed with the instrument and really enjoying it. Need to work on speed. Don't think I'll ever be as good as Earl but no one is. All we can do is keep picking and enjoy!

	roadstar75 says: 1/5/2015 6:17:25 PM Welcome to my world, started at age 75 over a year ago, will be 77 in March, it is still a struggle to get up to any sort of speed much less accuracy but it is going better than a year ago for instance. Already upgraded from my Deering GoodTime but the playing is still near beginner even if my teacher says I am doing well.
