For sale is my recently purchased (open box/blem) Gold Tone gold plated OB-2 lighter weight banjo in excellent+++ condition. The only thing I have found is a tiny place at the bottom corner of one of the inlays that is not as pointy as the others. It is lighter weight given the thinner rim and tone hoop instead of a full weight ring. It has a neck profile more similar to a Gibson and may very well be one of the loudest banjos I have had a chance to own. Only selling to fund a grandpa trip to see my soon to be born grandson who apparently is coming early. Comes with the GT case that it came in.
