A new model for both INWARD and OUTWARD spikes as well as for right- and left-handed banjos is now available.
With the SpikeTyke, precision in drilling holes for 5th string spikes is no longer left to chance. You get a perpendicular hole, the correct position with respect to both the string and the next fret up on the neck, with a distance of 9 mm or just under 3/8" from the fret. The SpikeTyke set contains the jig, 8 modified 0.85 mm Micro Engineering spikes, two drill bits, and instructions. The jig can also be used to drill 0.85 mm holes for 0.9 mm spikes.
