Some of us in the shop were looking thru the Bishline custom gallery today and picking our favorite that Rob has built over the last 10 years. Someone said "put it on

I think the 'Blue Wave' is my favorite. 'BanjOctopus' is right up there.

Actually, I really like all of them. The craftsmanship and artistry shines out like a beacon!

I know I'm not much help because I love them all. I can't imagine how well they are all built because every time I pick up my Okie, it's quality build and simple elegance blows me away.  I can't see how anyone could ever be disappointed with a Bishline banjo.

No doubt these are beautiful. Rob is a true artist. But, they're not just pretty faces. There's substance to all this style. They feel, play, and sound as great as they look. Just listen to Rob playing the BanjOctopus. That's one wild looking banjo, but the TONE.

Fresh out of the Bishline Custom Shop. Just finished this one for a local musician. Appointments include  Koa binding, mahogany inlay, copper veined powder coated flange and hoop, tunneled fifth string neck, woody rim/ring and pick up. Check it out!

Hi Andy, Wow those latest two banjos are beautiful!! Where do you guys come up with all the tasteful ideas? I purchased a beautiful Bishline Heirloom banjo( maple) last year form Acoustic Vibes in Tempe, Az. I would like a wood  armrest that would match or compliment the wood finish on my Heirloom banjo. Would you be able to fashion an armrest for my Heirloom?        Brian M

I couldn't resist posting a few pictures of this Custom Gold Orpheum that Rob just finished for Harland in Virginia to see what you thought about it. It has a laminted, tunneled fifth string neck, a Bishline/Barnes woody rim/ring black binding and custom engraved, gold plated hardware. Here's a custom " Myrtlewoody" banjo that Rob just finished. It has an extended, streaked ebony fingerboard, a tunneled fifth string neck, and a new aluminum flange that Rob has just developed.  More pictures @ bishlinebanjos.com/wp/customs   Enjoy!
