I started playing regularly in about 1987 and practiced, working hard at playing well until about 1999. At that time, I crashed a motorcycle, injured my arm and shoulder, and didn't play much until 2000. After working in South Africa for 5 months in 2000, I returned home to find my playing sloppy and frustrating. I picked up the banjo now and again, but did not practice regularly until May 2012. I am excited about playing again and hope not to lapse as I did before. Ron
