We were jamming in the living room on a Tuesday Afternoon and the repairman came to fix the washer and when it was fixed, he volunteered he could whistle--so we gave him a break. He knocked $10 off the repair bill because it was his best job of the day :)

Another knockout performance from Mary Z and the Sunny Sears Kenmore Washers Mountain Radio Band! You have turned an ordinary Friday afternoon into a fun time.
How many BHO members have earned, let alone saved, $10.00 playing the music?
Thanks!

Now the Maytag man has something to do with his time!

This sounds really good. Thanks for posting :) Looks like the repairman was a bit shy though :P

LOL :) We were all drinking this really hot Jamaican ginger beer and gave the repair man some too--so his lips were probably burnt. But he was not at all shy--he informed us right off the bat that when he was a young man in the Navy--he was in a band and they opened for Loretta Lynn when she flew in to do a show on his ship. ![]()

That's very cool. Around here, though, there's a very good chance the washing machine repair man would see what was going on & run out to the truck to get his own banjo!

... or, possibly, his gun!
On a serious note: A really nice moment!
