Stuff to know:

Sci-fi story is that a team is put into a mini submarine, and reduced small enough to be injected into  a patient's bloodstream to fix his innards.

Somebody asked a science dude about the details, and he suggested that reduction in SIZE does not mean reduction in WEIGHT. Suggested we think about  a large serving of cotton candy, say 8 ounces.

Squeezing the fluff back into a solid lump of sugar would make is smaller, but it would still weigh 8 oz.

Similarly, reducing a vehicle and a bunch of people to the size of a large germ, would still WEIGH about a ton, and given the pounds per square inch of THAT, it would be too heavy  to put into a hypodermic, and if somehow injected into a patient, would penetrate the patient, the operating table, the floor, and probably  continue to the center of the Earth.

But, it was a fun story, and almost as good when done as a movie.
