I just found this amazing website in the archives of the Hangout that allows you to stream or download concerts. I thought I'd bring it back into the public eye. One quick way to search is by typing "Bluegrass" into the search. Lots of good old Bluegrass Album Band shows and Bill Monroe shows, including a recording of his 1946 Grand Ole Opery performance. Enjoy!

Clicking on the show itself should allow you to stream the show with windows media player or VLC. I had some trouble listening to the shows this way, so what I've been doing is righ clicking on the "download" link and choose "Save target as" Then you can save it to your computer somewhere and play the file through windows media player or VLC. If you'd like to use iTunes you'll need to convert the files to an .mp3. To do that you can google search for the program "All2MP3". that does a good job converting the files. I hope this helped.

It really is amazing the stuff they have on there. Dan Pasley and Southern Grass, the Steep Canyon Rangers, Danny Barnes... There are even Banjo Workshops from various festivals hosted by different people...

Huh, well.... maybe you should just try browsing through the artists. Click on one of the letters and that should bring up all the artists that starts with that letter.

I have been listening to some old Bluegrass Album Band shows off there! Man, that J.D. can sure play that Gibson or whatever he was playing. He could make a four dollar banjo sound good.
