Born in the mountain state of West (BG) Virginia but my family somehow migrated to the Northeast and I now live in massachusetts (small 'm' intentional). I have been playing since 1973 and love the bluegrass sounds of NC & VA. In 1991, I spent some time with the Lonesome River Band as their sound tech and got to know some great pickers. My life's desire...Return to Franklin County, Virginia. Oh by the way, did I tell you, I am the biggest HOKIES fan in the Northeast.
