Very loud and bright, it came fairly well set up . Waiting for a new Fults tailpiece to arrive and also a new Kat Eyz bridge to really hear how good this banjo can sound.

Setup was done and pretty good when the banjo arrived. I'm going to change the strings and try a few different ones but I'm waiting for a new Fults parallel tailpiece and a Kat Eyz bridge to arrive and also a Thinline armrest to change them all at the same time.

The banjo came as standard but was in a good case so there were no faults on arrival. The inlay is flying eagle in MOP and is nice. A lovely finish on the mahogany neck and resonator in nitrocellulose lacquer .

Only dealt with Thomannn who are a very large music store in Germany. As I live in Ireland this was the cheapest deal on this banjo I could find after shopping around. The people I dealt with were always pleasant and helpful but it did take them 10days from time of purchase to the time they actually shipped the banjo. I never dealt with Recording King but there is a limited life time warranty.

All components were of a good standard, just changing a few parts as I've mentioned to try to get the best out of this banjo not because they needed to be changed. The bridge is a a maple bridge with ebony top, it has a presto style tailpiece and the armrest is good but I just like to change things a bit.

Overall I believe the RK Elite 75 to be excellent value for money. A great sounding banjo with plenty of volume. I'm still a novice on the banjo and bought this banjo as an upgrade but after having had this banjo for a few months now feel that however proficient I become there would be no need to change or up grade it. That's not saying that I won't buy another banjo in the future but I wouldn't need to.

This being my first serious banjo, the sound absolutely blew me away. It has great volume and the sound holds true with microphones as I don't use amps or pickups during performances. Due to the longer neck, the banjo has wonderful low notes with very rich and full sound.

The guys at Banjo.com did an excellent job of setting up the banjo. The action is perfect resulting in effortless fretting all the way up the neck. They were also more than willing to help me out for free when my 5th string started to sound a little twangy.

I'm honestly not too sure about the exact types of wood but it looks like good wood to me! Very nice looking banjo with a silver pot and some nice inlayed rings on the back of the resonator. It has some classic inlays including the flying eagle on the first fret. The banjo was absolutely flawless when purchased.

I've been playing this banjo any time I get a chance and it's held up perfectly so far. I also have no plans on it giving up on me either! I've used it at many gigs without the slightest concern of it quitting on me. I plan to have this banjo for many more years.

Banjo.com is absolutely amazing. I wouldn't even think of buying a banjo anywhere else. The guys really know their stuff, have a great selection, and are willing to let you try out any banjo you want. They've tinkered around with my 5th string for free after a small buzz due to some high humidity over an extended period of time.

The overall feel of the banjo just seems extremely solid and well made which makes me feel great about the purchase. The armrest isn't weak or cheap, but I'll most likely replace with with a wooden one at some point.

Amazing sound, I had heard so much about these banjos I bought it sight unseen. The sound is everything and more I could have expected. Such a full sound with a great bottom end. Also the banjo is so loud!! I couldn't be happier and would suggest it to anyone!

I feel like this banjo will last forever. This is a banjo I'll be able to pass on through my family for years. Recording king quality and reputation is growing every day. I'm glad I've been able to grab one while I can. As word gets out it will get harder and harder to find one.

This is an area that is very important to me. When you deal with a company you have to be able to rely on the service that they are going to provide to you.
Due to his reputation on the hangout I decided to contact Greg Rick directly. Well he lived up to his reputation. He got back to me incredibly quickly and hooked me up with Steve Smith from Cumberland Acoustics.
Both Steve and Greg were just incredible to deal with. I had a million questions and concerns and they helped the entire way.
I am truely grateful for all of their assistance and would suggest them to anyone looking for a Recording king.

I think I've conveyed my opinion of this banjo. I have to admit I was a little skeptical about what I've heard about this banjo. I took a leap of faith and couldn't be happier. If there is any doubts in your mind go for it. It's really an incredible instrument!!
