I was originally going to reply with something appreciative of Doc and Merle's banjo playing, but in a rabbit-hole I found old recordings uploaded on youtube that were part of Wolfgang's Vault.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wolfgang%27s
They were older recordings that had been passed to the concert promoter Bill Graham. After multiple owners, those recordings were in a warehouse that is auctioned off for $6 million dollars to the founder of Wolfgang's who uploaded them on their website in the early 2000s but came across legal issues so they continued as a music memorabilia store. Now they're rebranding as moshpit.com
It has Doc Watson recordings, Kentucky Colonels recordings, and Earl Scruggs recordings from the 60s-70s. Multiple take place at Ash Grove Los Angeles, CA in the late 60s.

I find it easier to google search for "[Artist Name] Wolfgang's Vault" or Artist Name and something in common in the descriptions of the videos. The videos on the channel are heavily unsorted. My first thought was that it was an AI making fake recordings of real artists just because the channel has 144,000 Videos if you look at the channel, I'm pleased and convinced that's not the case.
