In fairness, it's a somewhat odd question and I think it's the tongue-in-cheek suppositions that might lead someone to misunderstand your intent. Not to mention -- why bother creating a website and paying for hosting if the intention isn't to share it publicly? If it's for you and you alone -- simply upload your scanned documents to a cloud drive.. you can get to it from any device, mobile or otherwise with the directory browser effectively serving as an index.
That said, the original question (if I'm understanding correctly) is a basic web development question, but one that cannot be answered without understanding your hosting service, web environment and storage infrastructure. Beyond that lie some ever bigger challenges -- ensuring the backend files are properly secured and frontend password protection is implemented safely. All of it is pretty far out of scope for us banjer players!
